The Department of Communication
Through the study of science, media and technology, students in the Department of Communication are able to examine the rapidly changing and evolving communication technology in our society. Students in the program have a great deal of flexibility to design a program that fits their needs, and undergraduate students are encouraged, through faculty
advising, to find courses that will fit their interests.
Graduate curricula at Cornell University are determined individually by each student's special committee. Drawing from resources of outstanding scholars in the social sciences, natural sciences, and humanities at Cornell University, our students find new ways to investigate how communication shapes and is shaped by our society.
