We are pleased to welcome two new assistant professors, Brooke Duffy and Andrea Stevenson Won, who will be joining our department in July 2016. Brooke will be teaching courses on Gender and the Media and Media and Society. Andrea will be teaching courses on Embodiment in Virtual Reality and Visual Communication. We'll post their webpages soon!

Dawn Schrader attended 3 conferences in Washington D.C. sponsored by Facebook, Microsoft, and the Privacy Law Scholars. She is an invited commenter at the PLSC on the paper "The Credentialing Effect: Psychological Implications of Ubiquitous Capture and Constant Assessment."

Lauren Chambliss Joins the Department as Senior Lecturer

Lauren Chambliss is joining the Department of Communication as Senior Lecturer. Her responsibilities include teaching Written Comm and overseeing award nominations. Lauren comes to us from the Atkinson Center for A Sustainable Future, where she has been the Communication Director since 2011.

Natalie Bazarova promoted to Associate Professor with tenure
