Natalie Bazarova and Shelby Rokito receive ISS Grant
Prof. Natalie Bazarova was awarded $10,000 for her research entitled “Constant Social Media Use Among College Students.” She shares the award with Shelby Rokito, a Communication Department senior and a Rawlings Cornell Presidential Research Scholar, who is conducting an undergraduate honors thesis investigating constant social media use among college students. Geri Gay and Eric Baumer Receive NSF Grant
Professor Geri Gay and Post-Doctoral Associate Eric Baumer received an NSF grant to study the non-use of Facebook, entitled “Non-Use as a Transformative Lens for Understanding Social Technology.” The three-year grant is for $499,860.

Jenny Barnett has been appointed Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of Cornell Alumni Magazine, an appointment she will assume late fall 2014. Read more

Prof. Mike Shapiro, Co-Principal Investigator, and Robert Gravani, Principal Investigator, received a National Institute for Food & Agriculture/US Department of Agriculture grant for their research project, "Personal narratives of foodborne illness to increase Mexican-American perceptions of foodborne illness."
