Professor Geri Gay and Post-Doctoral Associate Eric Baumer received an NSF grant to study the non-use of Facebook, entitled “Non-Use as a Transformative Lens for Understanding Social Technology.” The three-year grant is for $499,860.

Mike Shapiro wins NIFA/USDA grant

Prof. Mike Shapiro, Co-Principal Investigator, and Robert Gravani, Principal Investigator, received a National Institute for Food & Agriculture/US Department of Agriculture grant for their research project, "Personal narratives of foodborne illness to increase Mexican-American perceptions of foodborne illness."

Geri Gay wins NSF grant

The NSF granted $699,899 to research the project, "Nutriphone: A Nanoparticle-based Optical Contrast Assay to Monitor Vitamin and Micro-nutrient Levels Using Smartphones." David Erickson is Principal Investigator; Geri Gay and Saurabh Mehta are co-Principal Investigators.
