Jon Schuldt wins top faculty paper award

Jon Schuldt and grad student Hang Lu received a top faculty paper award from the Environmental Communication Division of the International Communication Association for their paper, "What Makes for Persuasive Portrayals of Climate Change Victims? Exploring the Role of Group Identity and Perspective Taking."

Brooke Duffy on female entrepreneurship and social in media in The Chronicle

Brooke Duffy was interviewed by the Cornell Chronicle for her research on self-employed women working in digital creative industries (such as blogging or marketing), who feel compelled to conduct business online in a traditionally feminine way. The research was published in article entitled, "Gender and Self-Enterprise in the Social Media Age: A Digital Double Bind" in Information, Communication and Society. Read more
