Mobile Lab is on its way!

Apr 5, 2016
Sahara Byrne and Jeff Niederdeppe’s mobile research lab is starting to look amazing! The custom-designed mobile lab is ADA accessible and is outfitted with 5 separate research stations for their NIH-funded eye tracking studies. The research team, including Senior Research Associate Amelia Greiner Safi and post-doc fellow Joe Steinhardt, will spend the next few years conducting a series of experiments with youth and adult smokers examining the effect of graphic warning labels on cigarette packages. The mobile lab will enable access to research participants who may be otherwise difficult to reach due to distance from a research institution or lack of local space to conduct a study.
