Project Manager and Research Aid for the Media Effects Lab
Emma joined the Department of Communication in August 2016 after graduating from Cornell in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, focusing on the Environment, Science, and Health. She splits her time between the WesCo Media Project -- focusing on political advertisements and health issues -- and the NIH/FDA project about graphic warning labels on cigarette packs.
In her free time, she enjoys backpacking, reading, and going on long walks with her dog, Jake.
As Project Manager and Research Aid for the Media Effects Lab, she assists with:
- Designing and conducting research
- Collecting and analyzing data
- Hiring and supervising undergraduate RAs
- Traveling to schools and urban and rural sites in the NIH/FDA Mobile Lab
