Global Director of Marketing, IBM Watson Internet of Things
Scott is the Global Director of Marketing for IBM Watson Internet of Things (IoT). IoT is radically changing the way businesses operate and people interact with the physical world: Watson IoT is a set of capabilities that learn from, and infuse intelligence into, the physical world. Previously he was the Chief Marketing Officer for IBM's Central & Eastern European region. This region covered 29 counties ranging from Russia to Poland to Czech Republic and Hungary. His responsibilities included all levels of marketing and communications spanning all of IBM's business units. He joined IBM in July of 1999 after receiving an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management where he majored in marketing. Prior to business school, Scott worked in advertising, spending time as an account executive at both Young & Rubicam and J. Walter Thompson in San Francisco. He holds a B.S. in Communications from Cornell University.
