COMMConnect is the Department of Communication's annual career and professional development event open to all Communication majors and minors. Freshmen through seniors are welcome to join us for an opportunity to meet with industry leaders, gain real-world knowledge, and hone their networking skills. Each spring, the Communication Alumni Advisory Board members return to campus to get to know and inspire current Communication Students. Students and alumni will be divided into smaller groups and throughout the afternoon, they will have the chance to network and attend an information panel with the Advisory Board members.
All students in attendance will have their resume included in a file that will be provided to our alumni. You may upload your resume when registering or a week before the event.
COMMConnect 2019 will be held on Friday, April 12, 2-5 PM, in the Communication Department Hub (450 Mann Library Building). Attendance limited to 60. RSVP by March 25. Professional attire and resume required. The event will be followed by a reception at the Statler Hotel, 6-7 PM.
